Getting Started with Ride Buddy

Ride Buddy needs location, SMS, and notification permissions to detect crashes and alert your contacts. Grant these when prompted so ride monitoring can work correctly.

Once monitoring is active, you'll see "Ride Buddy is monitoring" in your notification shade — that means crash detection is active for the ride.

Every ride is saved with its GPS track in the GPX format, so you can review your ride history or open it in other mapping tools afterward.
